Formaldehyde Removed
Formaldehyde, which is considered a carcinogen by the FDA and EPA, is present in most worksurfaces. We have gone to great lengths to produce safer and healthier worksurfaces, removing formaldehyde from the core, glue, and edge banding.
*Trace amounts of formaldehyde naturally occur in wood. This claim does not apply to laminate options, as no suppliers of laminate top surface material offer a formaldehyde-free option. However, all our worksurfaces have been lab-tested to ensure no formaldehyde VOCs off gas.
PVC-Free Cables
Virtually all electric cables are made with PVC, which is a carcinogen. We are the only manufacture that we are aware of that has replaced PVC with Polyurethane, a non toxic alternative.
