The 2024 CSR Report

Humanscale’s 2024 CSR Report marks a major milestone: we officially became a Certified B Corporation. Alongside this achievement, we continued driving measurable impact across our sustainability pillars while expanding our handprint sustainability initiatives that give back more than we take. As a leader in sustainable office furniture, we remain committed to creating net positive products that deliver a lasting, planet positive impact.

This Corporate Social Responsibility report, published in 2025, reflects our performance during the 2024 calendar year, in accordance with standard reporting guidelines.

Key Highlights

B Corp Certified - In 2024, Humanscale became a Certified B Corporation, meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance. This milestone affirms our mission to lead with transparency, accountability, and a restorative approach to design and manufacturing, ensuring our net positive products are aligned with the principles of a circular economy.
Progress Across Pillars - We reduced operational emissions beyond our Science-Based Targets, scaled solar energy at our Dublin site, diverted over 90 percent of waste from landfill and incineration, and used rainwater harvesting for 100 percent of global production. Scope 3 emissions and packaging circularity remain areas of focus as we advance our commitment to the circular economy.
Growing Handprints - From bringing renewable energy to a community animal shelter with RE-volv to supporting large, accessible and affordable housing projects alongside Resonant Energy, our 2024 handprint sustainability initiatives aimed to actively improve the world around us and create a lasting planet positive impact.
